Cory stands 11.3 hands (unofficial measurement) and is a bright chestnut with ticking in his coat, four tall stockings and a blaze that wraps around his chin.  He also has two beautiful blue eyes.  He has a lovely, uphill trot (photos as a yearling and at age two) and showed phenomenal form over fences when he was free-jumped last year.  He has now begun his under saddle training and is proving to be very willing and uncomplicated.  Best of all, Cory has an impeccable personality.  He can be handled by small children and goes out in a herd with geldings, a two year old colt, and his own weanling foals.

Cory’s sire, Vimpenny Sweet Sultan, was imported from the UK after a successful career in the halter ring.  He now stands at stud at Glenhaven Welsh and is a top sire of hunter ponies.  Cory’s dam, Ceulan Sirius, comes from the Ceulan stud in the UK.  Sirius is an accomplished driving pony as well as the dam of several wonderful foals.

Thank you to Suzanne Moody of Glenhaven Welsh for patiently answering all my questions and making my first long-distance pony purchase as simple as possible.  (The photo on the right is the weanling photo that I fell in love with.)
