Isabelle is a 16.2 hand mare who was awarded Premium papers at her Oldenburg inspection as a filly.  She is dark bay with a star, stripe, and three socks with black spots in them.  Her sire is the true black son of the famous dressage sire, Ideal, who is now a Breyer model.

I started Isabelle under saddle for her breeder many years ago and wished to purchase her because she was the most balanced young horse I had ever been on.  I was unable to acquire her at that time but a couple years later she came up for sale again and this time I was able to bring her home.  Isabelle has the movement for dressage, the elegant good looks for hunters, and the boldness and speed for jumpers.  She has experience in both the hunter and jumper show rings.  She loves to play in the pasture (and occasionally under saddle - see photo on the left!) but we think when she has her first foal she will mature into a wonderful mother like her dam, Tiffany.  Update: she has her foal now and is as silly as ever!  And occasionally by "silly" I mean "terribly naughty".

I would like to thank Dorothy Sahlfeld for making my dreams of owning this mare come true, and for her valuable help finding and purchasing our beautiful farm.
